The American GLBT community is fighting back, and I give my full support to having their rights to be heard.The Supreme Court of California overturned the gay marriage ban in 2008. A conservative group with the help of the Church of Latter Days Saints had pushed a proposition to void the marriages and reinforce the ban on gay marriage. The religious right of the Republican Party and The DUMB Right are showing their "love" to the people.As a straight person, I respect marriage. I would one day settle down with a wife and kids someday. But in the meantime, I will keep fighting for the truth and open the door to America.So why is it wrong for a gay couple to be married? They are not hurting me! They want to live their lives in peace. I have no problem with it!I feel that in an age where the "old style" is becoming old, America still has hurdles to climb in order to make "freedom", not just a slogan. Two men managed to fool the gullible Republican Vice Presidential candidate into believing that she was talking to the president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy. Since being introduced in Dayton, Ohio, August 29, 2008, Senator John McCain was harshly criticized for not properly vetting Governor Palin. Former G.H.W. Bush Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger agreed that Governor Palin wasn't ready. Eagleburger backtracked and said that she is a "quick study".Governor Palin has face strong criticism for her interviews and campaign rallies. This inspired many woman to impersonate [Lisa Nova and Tina Fey] and some to repudiate [Senator Hillary Clinton and Campbell Brown] the second woman ever to be picked as vice presidential candidate.Don't get me wrong, she's a down to earth type of person! But her actions reflect on how a McCain presidency will be challenged by the Democratic-controlle d Congress and the mainstream media.Yes, the press coverage of Senator Barack Obama is more positive. The media is interested in the first African American to lead a national party to the general election.
